Overview of CEwall Archive features

Secure search

Authorized users can search for message in the archive. Based on the assigned role users can search only their own messages or also other mail accounts. Users can optionally grant access to other users, with varying degrees of access per user.

 

Instant processing

Email is instantly processed and available in the archive in near real time.

 

Direct access

End users can directly access and quickly retrieve email from the archive without administrator intervention.

 

Privacy

Based on the 'minimal access' principle, users are only allowed to search their own email. Auditors and other investigators need to be granted rights through predefined roles. Roles with special access rights are subject to extensive audit logging.

 

Single Sign On

Central administration of access control through single sign on integration with existing directories (LDAP and MSAD). Integrated login is supported for Windows environments.

 

Custom labels

Add additional labels to archived messages for easy retrieval of customer specific data.

 

Email download & print

Even though users cannot delete or modify the email archive directly, it is possible to download and/or print the original message. These rights can optionally be disabled.
